Several people injured in multi-car collision on infamous Indian Ocean Drive in WA
Multiple people have been rushed to hospital after a three-car crash on a major highway along Western Australia’s coast.
Emergency services attended the crash at the intersection of Indian Ocean Dr and Lancelin Rd in Lancelin about 1pm on Thursday.
A girl, a woman aged in her 30s and a second woman aged in her 40s were taken to Joondalup Health Campus.
Another woman in her 30s was taken to the Royal Perth Hospital under normal road conditions, while a second woman in her 40s was taken to the same hospital via a helicopter after sustaining serious injuries in the crash.

Both drivers, a 47-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, suffered critical head injuries and died at the scene.
