In very changeable conditions round 11 of the Albany Junior Soccer Association took place last Saturday.

Battling hard against the elements were Polonia White and the Great Southern Griffins in the under-14s competition.

Only two points separated the teams from second to fifth on the table but it was clear that the Griffins showed more endeavour in the bitter cold.

Five goals in the first half secured the match and a further three after the break gave the Griffins the valuable three points after the 8-0 win.
