In one of the most intriguing seasons on record, five clubs will do battle for the coveted Albany and Districts Cricket Association A-grade premiership.

The new season starts on Saturday and there is plenty of hype around Mt Barker and their off-season recruiting drive, landing seven-time Railways premiership player Nathan Crudeli.

The Tigers face their biggest challenge this decade if they are to extend their golden run to eight straight A-grade titles.

Manypeaks have the depth to cover a couple of key omissions and the Bulls team will feature a stack of batting depth, with their squad containing four WA Country XI representatives from the past few years.
