In-form trainer Roy Rogers will be represented by a big team of horses in feature races across the weekend

In-form Albany trainer Roy Rogers will have a two-pronged attack in the Amelia Park $120,000 Bunbury Stakes (1400m) on Saturday.

Rogers will also saddle up promising three-year-old Island Charm in the $100,000 listed Breeders Classic (1400m) at the Bunbury Turf Club.

He will then be represented by Heavinly Waters, Hoi An and Snippagem in the $100,000 listed Supremacy Stakes at Ascot on Sunday.

This season’s leading Great Southern trainer will have Luke’s Gold and Echo Effect in the listed Bunbury Stakes.

Luke’s Gold has been racing consistently over the past few months including a win at Ascot.

Chris Nicoll will partner the eight-year-old gelding from barrier 13 with 54kg.

Echo Effect will be looking to return to winning form for Rogers when he tackles the field from inside his stablemate in barrier 12 with apprentice Madi Derrick aboard.

The seven-year-old gelding joined Rogers’ stable four starts ago and was an upset winner of the Fitzpatrick Plate.

Promising three-year-old Island Charm will start in a hot field for the listed Breeders Classic with Lucy Warwick in the saddle from barrier six.

Island Charm won impressively at Ascot then ran second in the Magic Millions but ran a disappointing fifth last start at Ascot.

Rogers will also have Dark Assault and Read The Riot Act entered at Bunbury.

Fellow top Albany trainer Steve Wolfe will line up What About Moses and Oxbridge while Wild Fusion will race for Albany trainer Liam O’Loughlin in Bunbury as well.
