Two-car collision at notorious intersection of Albany Highway and South Coast Highway, occupants avoid injury

There has been a minor road crash at a notorious Albany intersection, with the occupants escaping injury on Thursday morning. Police and fire crews were called to the crash in Orana, at the intersection of Albany Highway and South Coast Highway near the city’s big roundabout. Two cars were involved in the collision, and the vehicles have been removed off the road, one sustaining heavy front-end damage. A police spokesperson said no one in the vehicles was injured. A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said crews were sent out to the scene to assist with the clean-up, and confirmed no people were trapped in the incident.
