Easter egg hunt for Organic Garden

Staff ReporterAugusta Margaret River Times

The Margaret River Organic Garden will be buzzing with activity on Saturday with the Coffee Club at 9.30am and an Easter egg hunt at 2pm.

Also on show will be a display of artworks, most with a garden or nature theme.

While some pieces will be for display only, others can be bought direct from the artist, with a percentage of the sale going towards upkeep of the site.

All children are welcome to participate in the egg hunt, where 1000 chocolate eggs will be hidden around the area.

Organic Garden secretary Sharyn Carroll said the activities would also be part of the garden’s celebration of three decades.

“We are very lucky to have the use of such a beautiful community run garden park in town,” she said.

“We hope locals will come along on the day and help celebrate the Organic Garden’s 30th year.”
