Entries open for Wine Show of WA with Margaret River’s Liv Maiorana joining judging panel

The State’s most prestigious wine show has opened for entries, with the Margaret River region again tipped to dominate the awards. This year’s Wine Show of WA would have its customary Margaret River links bolstered by South By South West winemaker Liv Maiorana taking a seat on the judging panel. International Master of Wine Edward Ragg would helm the judging panel. “Edward has judging experience in both Australia and China,” a spokesperson said. “We are thrilled to bring Edward’s discerning palate and unique perspective to the Sanector Wine Show of WA. “China is again extremely important to the Australian wine market and we are excited to have a judge from China on our panel this year.” This year’s show will also introduce an award for chenin blanc for the first time.
