The Margaret River Men’s Shed will hold a raffle this weekend to kick off a fundraising campaign for their new facility.

The group is using the old blacksmith’s shed at the Old Settlement, but last year was given approval for a permanent site at the old water tower near Gloucester Park.

Committee chairman Terry Hutchings said fundraising would help buy new equipment and supplement construction costs.

Members of the Men’s Shed will be selling raffle tickets outside IGA and Woolworths from 8am – 4pm on Saturday.

Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, and prizes include cases of wine and a hamper of local produce.
