Grand Mercure Basildene Manor ranked one of best properties in Tripadvisor 2024 Travellers’ Choice Awards

A Margaret River resort has been recognised as one of the best in Oceania. Grand Mercure Basildene Manor was ranked the second best small and boutique property in Australia and the South Pacific in this year’s Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards. The 19-apartment resort has a five-star rating on the travel site from more than 1200 stays at the 1912-built manor. Accor Vacation Club manages the property, with chief executive Craig Wood celebrating the achievement. “We consider being listed on Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards once again to be one of the highest honours we can achieve, given that it is solely based on the opinion of guests and reflective of their experiences,” he said. “We would like to thank our members and guests for their positive reviews and particularly those who choose to come back to the property time and time again. “We look forward to continuing to create the memorable experiences they have come to expect.” The manor is set within 5.6 hectares of gardens and located on the western outskirts of the town. The company advertises the property as offering a blend of historic charm and contemporary style, with close proximity to the region’s most renowned wineries and restaurants.
