The Margaret River Heart is celebrating the first year of its local music program and calling for the region’s artists to complete a short online survey ahead of future bookings. The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River-run venue’s five Homegrown@HEART performances were well received by residents, capitalising on coronavirus chaos imperilling interstate touring shows to bring the best of local talent to audiences. With part funding from the WA Government, the shows received “glowing feedback” according to Heart general manger Nicky Hansen.
