The Margaret River Returned and Services League’s Anzac Day ceremonies will be held on Thursday.

The RSL has secured a bugler for the commemoration, which starts with a dawn service at Memorial Park in Margaret River at 6am.

Attendees are asked to assemble by 5.55am.

RSL president Keith Simmonds will give a short address followed by the laying of wreaths, the Ode to the Fallen and a prayer, and the New Zealand and Australian national anthems.

Afterwards, the public is invited to the Margaret River District Club on Tunbridge Street for the traditional gunfire breakfast.

VideoMultiple Anzac Day commemorations have been cancelled in Auckland due to safety concerns.

The main service kicks off at 11.15am, assembling at Reuther Park before the parade heads to Memorial Park for 11.30am.

The Busselton Brass Band will provide the music for the march and the service.

Any changes due to weather will be posted outside the Margaret River Hotel, pointing residents to the District Club for 11.45am.

Augusta guests can attend the Augusta-Karridale RSL service at Memorial Park on the corner of York Street and Osnaburg Street at 6.20am. The gunfire breakfast starts at 6.45am.

The main service occurs at 11am, with lunch and two-up at the Augusta Hotel.
