In an age of PC and non-PC warriors tearing each other apart on social media, it is nice to know comedians are taking a crack at the great cultural divide.

Jez Watt’s Nasty Show has gained notoriety at the likes of Perth FringeWorld and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival since its last foray down our way, and it is back in Margs for an encore.

The night will feature Aidan “Taco” Jones, David Tuffley, Alissia Marsh, Glenn Grimwood and Watts himself.

Watts said the act was a chance for touring comics to get “buck wild”.

“The night will be purpose-built for headliners and pro comics to do all the material they can’t get away with in their regular acts,” he said.

“The content is specifically filthy and offensive and funny as.

“When we started the show, we were just looking for a place to try out material that went a bit far for a regular club set, but it turns out audiences really love coming somewhere where that’s all they’re going to get.”

Nasty Show will be hosted late night at Settlers Tavern on Thursday, May 2.
