Residents and businesses will be invited to celebrate the end of the Margaret River main street redevelopment with a street party on Friday January 29.

The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River’s Margs Street Party will see a full street closure, with businesses and vendors invited to take over the strip for an afternoon fiesta running until 9pm.

The party would be the first use of the new Fearn Avenue festival precinct and include stalls, music, street performances and other attractions.

Shire president Ian Earl said it was a chance to celebrate the end of a very challenging year.
