The RAC helicopter is set to airlift a person believed injured in an abseiling incident at the coast near Boranup 25km south of Margaret River. Authorities scrambled at news of the incident just after 3.30pm on Thursday. The incident was at the same location popular with abseilers which sparked an emergency response on November 26 last year when police and State Emergency Service crews retrieved a stranded bushwalker. SES volunteers were called out again today to the latest incident near Brides Cave. The cave is located in dense bush within the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park managed by Parks and Wildlife. More to come.
