The WA Country Health Service has administered more than 200,000 vaccine doses to regional WA. Health Minister Roger Cook lauded the milestone and encouraged South West residents to get the jab to keep the momentum going. “It’s been great to see our country residents rolling up their sleeves,” he said. “I applaud their commitment to keeping their communities safe and protected from COVID-19. “I also acknowledge the role of country GPs and pharmacists in regional WA. “The success of vaccination clinics across the State is making it easier than ever before for our country communities to access a COVID-19 vaccination close to home.” State-run COVID-19 vaccination clinics now operate across more than 100 locations, in addition to pop-up clinics across WA.
