Seven bodies found near Margaret River

Three adults and four children are dead after a suspected murder-suicide in Osmington, on the outskirts of Margaret River.

Police were called to the rural property before dawn this morning after alarm was raised by a neighbour.

Addressing a media conference this morning, Police Commissioner Chris Dawson said two adults were found dead outside the property and the other bodies were inside a house.

The visibly shaken Commissioner said two firearms were recovered from the scene.

The area has been blocked off by police and forensic crews and Perth detectives were on the scene.
