Swinging fun at Playout
The Margaret River Concert Band will present a fusion of music and swing dance at The Augusta Playout on Sunday.
The two-hour event will feature Latin, classic pop, jazz and a touch of rock and pop music by the band.
Dancers from South West Swing will also take to the stage for a few tunes and offer a lesson to those who want to give it a go.
MRCB drummer Deb “Spoons” Perry said the afternoon would provide family-friendly entertainment.
“It should be a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of varied music presented by your community band,” she said.
“We are all really looking forward to entertaining Augusta.”
Tea, coffee and cake will be provided and patrons can bring their own drinks and snacks.
The Augusta Playout will begin at 2pm on Sunday at Augusta Centennial Hall.
Tickets are $10 and can be bought from the Augusta Newsagency or at the door.
