Margaret River Senior High School surfers have once again beaten the best in the State.

In the latest WA School Surfing titles round held at Gracetown last week, MRSHS surfers trumped all the major categories to come out on top, ahead of Cape Naturaliste College and Mackillop Catholic College.

Surfing WA events manager Justin Majeks said the contest was “brimming with talent” and MRSHS surfers claimed “a hard-fought victory” in the overall results.

The junior girls’ competition was won by Ruby Berry and Kaleisha Launders, with Sid Englert and Okie Fraser winning the boys’ division.

Senior girls Willow Hardy and Zali Hewson came out on top, alongside Jed Gradisen and George Simpson in the boys’ division. The bodyboard categories were also fiercely contested, but swept by local contenders.
