The end of the school holidays will be a cause for celebration in Margaret River this month, thanks to the Youth Advisory Council’s annual festival

on April 16.

From 3pm, Margaret River Youth Precinct will host entertainment, music, art activities and other stalls for youngsters and their families.

Shire of Augusta-Margaret River community planning and development co-ordinator Jason Cleary said the Youth Week festival would be a celebration for all ages and abilities.

“Please come on down and join in this fun and free event,” he said. “It’s a great opportunity for young people to come together, celebrate all their talents, learn new skills, and find out about services and opportunities available to them right here in our local shire.”

Mental health service headspace will also operate during the festival.
