Unearth gems at Organic Garden event
The Margaret River Organic Garden amphitheatre will host a family concert on Sunday, with relaxed music and circus acts.
Entertainer Johnno B Biscuit — known to his friends as Johnno Tate — will perform circus tricks to entertain the children and later as frontman of local parody band The Antics.
Local youth jazz band The Dizzy G’s will also take to the stage ahead of a string of shows the band have booked for Margaret River this summer.
The Dizzy G’s lead singer Kiera Smirk, a recent graduate of Margaret River Senior High School, said the Organic Gardens was the “heart of Margaret River” and looked forward to performing.
“It’s a nice place to go and destress,” she said.
“It’s a place that’s inclusive for the whole community.”
Tate said the event would celebrate family fun and would have a laid-back atmosphere.
“Bring a picnic because it will be a great way for families to end the week,” he said.
The alcohol-free event will run from 4pm to 7pm and entry is by gold coin donation.
