A 30-year-old woman has been charged with two trespassing charges and one stealing charge, after she broke into multiple homes last week claiming to be a cleaner.

The woman was charged with trespassing on a property in Rapids Landing and stealing from a property in Cowaramup on November 30 and trespassing on a property on Devon Drive on Friday.

She allegedly let herself into homes while the occupants were there and said she was a cleaner.

Sergeant Brett Cassidy said it appeared on social media there might have been more incidents.

“We have been notified of some incidents, but more people need to make official statements,” he said.

The woman will appear in Margaret River Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
