Fitness hounds wanting to support a great cause are invited to a River Angels fundraiser next weekend.

The Margaret River Body Club will hold a charity day with three classes, open to members and non-members alike for a $5 donation.

Body Club owner Ian Hedley said helping others while working out had never been easier.

“The Body Club Fitness Centre is holding its second big fundraiser to support the River Angels in Margaret River,” he said.

“The Body Club is committed to helping the River Angels, who do an amazing job in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.”

The classes — pump, boxing and yoga — would be augmented by DJ Erik Stoveld.

Mr Stoveld, a gym regular, said he would play some top-40 hits to help give the classes some extra energy.

He was happy to spin some discs for free because the centre always had a great attitude, sought to help residents, and offered a welcoming and supportive environment for fitness fanatics.

A raffle would also be held on the day offering prizes donated by local businesses.

The day gets under way with DJ Erik spinning tunes from 8.30am on Saturday, March 14.
