Sydney architect Jade Young identified as among victims of Bondi Junction massacre
A Sydney architect has been identified among the victims in the Bondi Junction massacre.
Bellevue Hill mother-of-two Jade Young was killed when Joel Cauchi went on a stabbing rampage at the busy Westfield shopping centre on Saturday.
It is understood Ms Young worked for a Double Bay architectural firm.
She was also a member of the Bronte Surf Club, which issued a statement on Sunday to advise a planned social event had been cancelled in the wake of the tragedy.
“This is and will be a difficult time for the community, and we encourage you to seek support from family, friends, fellow Club members or to speak to your GP to assist you in processing this tragedy,” the statement, posted on social media, said.
“We are here to support the community, and our heartfelt condolences go out to everyone affected.”
