Detectives investigating Guy Street unit fire

Broome Detectives are calling on residents for assistance with their investigation into a house fire that occurred on Guy Street on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at a back unit on Guy Street at approximately 3:50pm on Tuesday and caused extensive damage.

Local firefighters attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.

It is alleged the fire was deliberately lit and police are advising for anyone who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles to contact Broome Detectives on 9194 0210 or Crime Stoppers.
