Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, this Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster, which will be held from May 15-24 in Kununurra, is set to continue its legacy of one of Australia’s most awarded and anticipated regional festivals with the announcement of its headline artists.

Spanning 10 days, the festival promises to bring together music, culture, arts and unforgettable Kimberley experiences.

The highlight of the program, the Kimberley Moon Experience on Saturday, May 23, will be headlined by one of the country’s highest-selling artists, Tina Arena AM, along with Boy & Bear and Budjerah.

The event will mark the festival’s closing night, set on the banks of the Ord River.

World-renowned artist, Tina Arena said she was excited to be performing at the Kimberley Moon Experience in Kununurra.

“I’ve heard the crowds are amazing and I love how unique the event is — from the glam black-tie dinner experience to the general admission crowd all coming together for one unforgettable night,” Arena said.

“I’m also thrilled to be sharing the stage with Boy & Bear and Budjerah.

“The Kimberley is such a beautiful, spiritual place.

“I’ve been lucky to perform in some incredible locations but nothing will compare to the remoteness and untouched beauty of the East Kimberley, I can’t wait to get to Kununurra,”

Budjerah, a proud Coodjinburra man from the Bundjalung nation, is a multi-ARIA Award-winning, platinum-selling artist whose emotionally driven, genre-blending sound has had him collaborate with artists including Ed Sheeran and Kylie Minogue

The Kimberley Moon Experience offers three ticket options: family-friendly general admission, where festival-goers can bring a blanket and picnic, the licensed and styled Bishop’s Transport Muster Bar (18+) and the premium Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner, an all-inclusive black-tie dining experience under the stars.

WA’s Minister for Tourism, Reece Whitby said the WA Government was proud to have supported the festival for more than 20 years.

“We recognise the immense value of regional events as part of our government’s economic diversification strategy, which not only inspire visitors to explore every corner of our State but also deliver significant benefits to local communities, businesses and jobs,” Mr Whitby said.

The 25th anniversary of the Ord Valley Muster promises celebration, excitement and energy and this year’s music talent will take it to the next level.”

The State Government supports the Ord Valley Muster through Tourism WA’s Regional Events Program, funded by Royalties for Regions.
