Author J.D. Chadwick will visit the Busselton and Dunsborough libraries this week for a talk on his book Deckers, Punters and Dead Ants.

In the late 1970s when Chadwick was just 23, he landed a job in London driving a double-decker bus around Europe for six weeks with Topdeck travel company.

He’ll share stories of how he got the job despite not having a driver’s licence and never having driven a bus, and transporting tourists across Europe, Asia, the US and Australia.

Chadwick will also bring a message of health, and how writing lowers stress and other factors that contribute to illnesses.

Chadwick will be at the Busselton Library on Wednesday at 2pm and the Dunsborough Library Thursday at 11am.
