Fusion Jewellers will host its sixth annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast next weekend to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Owner Kerry Lander said breast cancer was a topic close to her heart and she looked forward to raising money for research.

“Most women know someone, whether it’s a friend, sister, mother or aunty, who has suffered from breast cancer,” she said.

“In fact it’s rare to not know anyone who’s suffered any form of cancer. The money raised for the foundation is crucial towards finding a cure.”

Statistics show one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, and the NBCF goal is no deaths by 2030.

The breakfast will be on Saturday, October 20 from 8.30am.

Entry is free and guests receive a goodie bag on arrival.

Fundraising will be through raffling off products donated by the business and other local organisations.

RSVP on 9752 2766 or email sales@fusionjewellers.com.au.
