John Graham’s in-form talent Fatal Attack looks hard to beat in tonight’s Chaff City Pinjarra RWWA Westbred Feature SS Pace (2030m) at Busselton.

Despite starting off a 40m handicap, the four-year-old looks to have more than enough pace to salute, especially on the back of his classy victory over Isaidboo on New Year’s Day.

During the victory, the Carey Park-based gelding did not have things all his own way, after spending the best part of the trip 50m-70m off the lead.

It was not until the bell lap that he finally managed to go to work after making up an incredible amount of ground and showed just how polished he could be.

Later in the night, Dennis Roche’s silky mare Just Like Shannon appears poised to make it back-to- back wins, after securing gate one for the President’s SS Pace (2030m).

Bunbury flier Bletchley Park has drawn barrier two for the $50,000 Village Kid Sprint (1730m) at Gloucester Park tonight.

The Stephen Reed-trained gelding has been a favourite with punters in the lead-up, and looks set to go in as a warm favourite.

Since finishing 12th to Vultan Tin in the Tabtouch WA Pacing Cup (2936m) on December 4, the five-year-old has not only placed in his last two starts, but showed plenty of heart when challenged.

But Bletchley Park will need to be at his best to greet the judges, as a star-studded field — including pacy mare Balcatherine alongside in gate three — are likely to pose a number of questions to both him and reinsman Lindsay Harper.
