Allied health professionals from the Capes and Perth will join forces on Saturday, October 31 for the South West Wellness Symposium, organised by Busselton’s Dr Sarah Moore.

Keynote speakers such as Shannon Harvey, Adam Przytula, Rhett Corker and Claire O’Berry will join locals Jean-Michel David, Dr Moore and David Barton, among others to present a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

The symposium focuses on living mindfully, building resilience in kids and teens, men’s health and holistic end-of-life care.

Dr Moore said the event had a “really inspiring” program with well-informed speakers, who had “wonderful wisdom” to share.

“People can look forward to coming together in community, which has been limited during COVID-19, with an opportunity to meet other people who have a passion for wellness,” she said.

“We’re going to have stalls with local practitioners where they can meet and learn about the services they offer in the area, and a raffle with some healthy prizes.

“With busy schedules people can get caught up in doing what they need to do and forget that self care really needs to be prioritised and built into their daily routines.”

Tickets are $50 and online streaming tickets are $30.
