The Dunsborough-Yallingup Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to celebrate Small Business Day tomorrow.

The aim is to acknowledge the contribution small businesses make to WA’s economy.

Chamber president Pauline Vukelic said it was an opportunity to recognise achievements from small businesses in the region.

Dunsborough business Evviva Cafe’s Ambra Fossati said she enjoyed working in a small, tight-knit community.

“One of the joys of being a small business is chatting with our regular customers. It makes working in hospitality very rewarding,” she said.

Vasse MLA and shadow minister for small business Libby Mettam said hard-working local businesses drew national and international visitors to the region.

“Small businesses are at the heart of what makes our local communities so great and I encourage everyone to take this opportunity to say thank you by choosing to shop locally,” she said.
