Publication to thank women
The South Western Times has teamed up with the Zonta Club of Bunbury to recognise the role of women in improving our community.
To coincide with International Women’s Day and the Zonta Club’s centenary, the South WesternTimes has teamed up with the Zonta Club of Bunbury and will be publishing a special feature acknowledging the contribution of 100 outstanding women of the South West.
Individuals and organisations are invited to put forward their special women who deserve to be showcased in this publication to be included in the South Western Times in March.
“It’s about acknowledging the positive things women are doing in our community,” Bunbury club public relations and communications committee member Sarahjane Bilston said.
“Whether it is through business or through volunteering or community projects.”
Zonta International is an international women empowerment organisation founded in the US city of Buffalo in 1919 while the Bunbury club was established in 1988, having just celebrated its 30th anniversary.
