A couple who allegedly bought almost $14,000 worth of iPhones using a fraudulently obtained line of credit are being sought by police.

On February 28, a man lost his wallet containing his driver’s licence, credit card and Medicare card and later found out those documents were used to obtain a line of credit in his name.

Police will allege a man and woman bought seven iPhone 11 Pros, using that line of credit at a Booragoon mobile phone shop on March 4.

It is understood after leaving the store with the phones, they met up with another man and left the area together.

The man is described as light-skinned, about 25 years old and thin-built with facial hair, wearing a fluorescent yellow top, dark pants and a dark baseball cap.
