A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting his brother in the northern Perth suburb of Alkimos on Friday.

The 27-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to his torso at about 3.30am in Callosa Crescent.

Police will allege he was shot inside a house in nearby Bellini Garden and was being driven to receive medical treatment when the car he was in crashed on Marmion Avenue.

He was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The man’s 24-year-old brother has been charged with attempting to unlawfully kill.
