A man who allegedly drove into a North Fremantle building with a blood alcohol reading of more than three times the legal limit has lost his licence.

It happened just before 9:45pm, at the intersection of Walter Place and Bracks Street last night.

Police say the Ford Ranger utility left the road, ploughed down an embankment and crashed into a demountable office building.

It’s alleged the driver fled the scene but was found by police at a home a short time later where he was breath tested and gave a reading of 0.177.

The 28-year-old Mosman Park man has been charged with driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and served a motor driver’s licence disqualification notice.
