Three men have appeared in court charged with the shooting murder of a tradie in Melbourne's north.

Adam Tiba and Abdullah Hammoud, both aged 21, and 18-year-old Tahmid Rahman, allegedly opened fire on a Lalor home that Adrian Pacione was visiting on July 18.

The 20-year-old died two days later in hospital from head injuries.

Tiba, Raham and Hammoud appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court via video link on Wednesday, each charged with Mr Pacione's murder.

They allegedly fired multiple rounds from a semi-automatic handgun into the Lalor home.

The men were arrested during police raids across the suburbs of Greenvale, Meadow Heights and Roxburgh Park earlier on Wednesday.

They were remanded in custody to reappear for a committal case conference on February 24.
