Rescuers race to free one person trapped in motorhome after crash that also injured four others

A person is trapped inside a motorhome and others have been hurt in a serious crash in the South West.

The incident unfolded on Boronia Road near the Wallis Road intersection in Rosa Glen, about 12km east of Margaret River, just before 10.20am on Sunday.

Police said that a motorhome with four people inside crashed into a tree, trapping one and injuring others.

The RAC Rescue helicopter is en route to the site, with emergency service personnel on the scene.

A St John WA spokeswoman said two ambulance crews had been sent to the crash site.

They were treating two women in their 20s and another two people.

The extent of the women’s injuries is not known.

The other two are believed to have minor injuries.
