Investigation sparked after ‘caring’ mother’s body found under car in driveway by son
A mass investigation has begun after a “caring” mother who “took care of her kids” was found underneath a car in Adelaide’s northwest.
SA Police confirmed the body of the 45-year-old mother of four was found in Pennington on Thursday morning.
Officers and emergency services were called to Addison Rd about 7.40am after reports a body was found under the rear of Mercedes sedan in a driveway.
The woman from the address died at the scene.
Friends and neighbours of the victim gathered outside of the woman’s home, where one woman told 7 News she believed the victim’s son found his mother on the ground and called for help.
“She’s a very caring person and caring mum,” the woman said.
“She takes care of her kids. We're all going to miss her.”
“We’re very worried about her children. Very sorry for them,” another said.
Investigators remained at the scene on Thursday afternoon.
SA Police had since determined the death was not suspicious and will prepare a report for the State Coroner.
