Goldfields woman Laurice Gaitau missing after car crash near Sandstone

A woman has been reported missing after her car was found crashed on the road to Sandstone on Monday.

Laurice Evelyn Gaitau, 51, left Menzies for Sandstone about 11am Monday along the Menzies-Sandstone Road.

Ms Gaitau vehicle was located damaged this morning about 50km from Sandstone, by she was not with the vehicle.

Police have concern for her welfare.

Ms Gaitau is described as fair skinned, 155 cm tall with a solid build brown hair and brown eyes.

Her blue heeler Mack who she was traveling with was not with the vehicle either.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have collected Ms Gaitau after the crash or has information on her whereabouts.

Anyone who has information is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
