Man charged with murder over death of 54yo woman in Goldfields Aboriginal community
A man has been charged with murder over the death of a 54-year-old woman in a remote Goldfields Aboriginal community.
Police were called to Wanarn community in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, about 800km north-east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, following the death of a woman on Monday morning.
A man was on Tuesday being questioned in relation to the incident.
Homicide Squad detectives have now charged a 50-year-old man from the same community with murder.
He will appear at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court in Perth on November 25.
