Boulder produced a three-goal second half to edge out defending premiers Kalgoorlie by 13 points, 5.8 (38) to 4.1 (25), last Saturday in round two of the Goldfields Football League’s colts competition.

In the lone match played in the grade, Kalgoorlie led by two points at half-time but were held to just one major after the main break.

Eric Walter, Steven Wanoa-Katene, Jordan Emsley, Mitchell Hobbs and Rolie Wells each hit the scoreboard for Boulder. Zinzan Clark booted two goals for the Roos.

Despite the result, Kalgoorlie hold first place on percentage over Mines Rovers and Boulder, who each have a win.
