A man has been charged after allegedly drugging and raping two women he met via an online dating app.

Police say the 43-year-old man from Ascot, in Perth’s east, met the two women, aged in their 20s, separately.

WA Sex Assault Squad detectives allege in May last year the man sexually assaulted one woman at a home in Burswood, rendering her unconscious using a drug.

Detectives further allege that in December last year the man sexually assaulted a second woman at a home in Ascot, sedating her with same drug.

The man has been charged with three counts of sexual penetration without consent and two counts of stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence.
