Perth’s notorious Bayswater Bridge has claimed its seventh victim for the year.

This time the unlucky vehicle was a skip truck which ploughed into the deceptively low piece of infrastructure on Sunday morning.

This is the first time the bridge has been struck since July and today’s crash was captured by another Perth institution, the Bell Tower Times.

Theoretically the bridge’s days of clipping unsuspecting trucks is numbered as it is set to be increased to 4.8m as part of a $146 million upgrade to the Bayswater Station.
