Emergency crews are at the scene of an ugly crash between two cars that has blocked a lane of traffic.
The crash was reported just after 6am Thursday on Mitchell Freeway heading southbound near Burns Beach Road in Neerabup.
Main Roads warned drivers the right lane was partially blocked, with heavy traffic building up in the area.
Motorists were told traffic was slow on approach and reminded to merge safely.
St John Ambulance are at the scene, with injuries unknown at this stage.
