Shark sighting leads to closure of popular SW beach

Lifeguards have closed Meelup Beach, near Dunsborough this morning after a sighting of a 4m white shark.

The shark was spotted 100m offshore heading north, when it was seen by the SLS Westpac Helicopter at 11.23am.
