Bad weather in Esperance will see a surprise visit to the region by the Pacific Eden cruise liner tomorrow.

The news came out this morning that the ship was confirmed to visit Busselton on Saturday, May 13, bringing its 1260 passengers to the South West after being diverted because of unfavourable weather conditions in Esperance.

The ship will anchor at Busselton from 8am to 5pm and the Margaret-River Busselton Tourism Association has confirmed live entertainment for the visit and is working with the City of Busselton to provide visitor services and information for passengers.

It follows the news earlier this week that P&O cruises would no longer home port in Fremantle, which saw the cancellation of the scheduled Sun Princess visit to Busselton in October 2018.
