Cullen Wines will host the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce’s International Women’s Day celebration next Wednesday to share stories of successful women in business and the community.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder businesswoman Peggy Strudwick-Brown will be keynote speaker, alongside Cullen Wines managing director Vanya Cullen, real estate agent Rebecca Hannan and Swimming Women owner Charlotte O’Beirne.

MRCC executive officer Rebecca Young said the morning would feature acoustic duo Kiki and Co performing live, as well as a raffle with prizes.

“The event is about coming together for a special morning of inspiration and celebration with a selection of heartfelt, humorous, and awe-inspiring stories from accomplished guest speakers,” she said.

“It’s about celebrating the diversity of women and recognising the contributions they continue to make to the regions.

“It’s open to everyone in the area, men included.”

Ms Cullen said sharing the stories of hardship and success was a key reason for hosting the gathering.

The event runs from 9.30am to 11.30am.

Tickets are $29 or $19 for MRCC members.
