Nannup Music Festival attendees will have a chance to have early access to Kallidad’s yet-to-be-named new album.

The festival is the first stop on their tour to promote their new album, which will be officially released on March 16, but will be available to purchase at the Nannup Music Festival.

Kallidad first came to the Nannup Music Festival in 2014.

The group last year performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, where they shared the bill with Elton John, The Chemical Brothers and Slash from Guns N’ Roses.

They are a three-piece musical act, featuring two Spanish guitars and a box drum, and combine flamenco and mariachi music with rock and metal influences.

With their new album, the band said they were going to incorporate other instruments into the repertoire, including electric guitar, bass guitar and drum kit.

Kallidad has quite a distinct stage presence, with all members painting their faces to resemble participants in Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebration.

The group will play from 11.20pm to 11.55pm at the Amphitheatre Venue at the festival and will host a workshop on Sunday from 6.30pm to 7.15pm.
