The good people up the top of WA are complaining about how cold it is up there and honestly, they know nothing Jon Snow.

Temperatures will reach a balmy 28 degrees around the Kimberley town of Kununurra today, a fact they do not appear to appreciate.

In the Pilbara, where they like to talk about how tough they are when it comes to weather, Newmanites are not looking forward to their pleasant mid-20’s weekend.

A post on the North West Telegraph Facebook page has been accompanied by locals claiming they will be rugging up inside or reaching for their winter woolies today despite facing a day of sunshine.

How these people will ever get through such pleasant temperatures is beyond us.

There’s a similar attitude in the top end, where the illustrious NT News decided today’s top of 28 degrees was worth a front page mention alongside a caption reading ‘rug up, it’s gonna get cold!’

To put these complaints in perspective, temperatures down south over the weekend according to the Bureau of Meteorology are as follows:

Perth: today 24 and sunny, tomorrow 24 and sunny.

Rockingham: today 23 and sunny, tomorrow 23 and sunny.

Bunbury: today 22 and sunny, tomorrow 22 and partly cloudy.

Busselton: today 21 and sunny, tomorrow 22 and partly cloudy.

Margaret River: today 22 and sunny, tomorrow 21 and partly cloudy.

Augusta: today 21 and sunny, tomorrow 21 and possible shower.

Bridgetown: today 22 and sunny, tomorrow 22 and partly cloudy.

Manjimup: today 21 and sunny, tomorrow 21 and partly cloudy.

Albany: today 21 and sunny, tomorrow 21 and partly cloudy.

No sympathy from us, northerners.
