Lotterywest will provide funding for the 37th Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and Street Carnival next year. The 2024 festival will feature Codee-Lee, Helen Townsend and The Wayward Hearts, Kate Hindle, Brandon Poletti and The Eagleton Brothers. The Boyup Brook Country Music Club has received funding from Lotterywest which will help keep the Boyup Brook community connected through arts and cultural activities. The Lotterywest Street Carnival, which will be on February 17, will offer a plethora of entertainment including sculptural and artistic entertainer Arty Brellas, fan-favourite face painters Colour Me Face Painting and Body Art, street entertainers Eco Faeries and Enchanted Stiltwalkers, along with activities including an 8m climbing wall and bungee trampolines. Other entertainment and activities in the Street Carnival include magician Sabin Illusions, Dangerous Delights, Circus Play Space, Giant Bubble Zone, Roller Skate Character, Roving Hoola Hooper, Miss Red and Yeeha Betty along with Ranger Reds Zoo. Street buskers will also be contributing to the street carnival. The Boyup Ute & Truck parade will commence at 11am and parade through the streets with a dazzling procession. The art awards and exhibition will be showcased by the Community Resource Centre with numerous categories and great prizes on offer.
