Bunbury’s run of 30C days is set to continue through the weekend and well into next week as the region sweats through the final weeks of summer. A 35C day is forecast for Bunbury on Saturday, while Sunday is set to be 32C and the mercury won’t drop below 30C in the South West city until at least Thursday. And it is a similar outlook this week for Busselton, with 30C-plus temperatures forecast through the weekend and into the week. Harvey will be the hottest town in the region for the next two days — set to reach 37C on both Friday and Saturday before cooling only slightly to 34C on Sunday and remaining in the mid-30s for the rest of the week. Up the hill in Collie, Saturday is set to reach 38C but Sunday is likely to cool significantly to 31C. Margaret River will reach 31C on Saturday before hovering around the high 20s for Sunday and the remainder of the week. It will reach 33C on Saturday in Manjimup, before some relief with a 27C day forecast for Sunday.
